I would guess that you are not marrying anyone for a while. How about a book—writing about your travels and experiences? I hope that you are keeping a copious diary even if you do not plan (at this time) to write a book.
Yes, you lost all your snarkiness, but you seem to be fresh, vibrant and full of excitement. I like it!
btw pick up “The Tenth Muse, My Life in Food”
Judith Jones, Knopf––it is right up your alley. (send me yr snail mail & I’ll send you a copy [i work at rh])

steve,
it’d be great to publish something over 2,000 words, sure. i’m not sure if any publisher would pick it up but for my own sense of achievement, i’d love to write a book.
it’s hard to be snarky when you have a whole new world awaiting you each morning and the people around you are friendlier than what you’re used to. i will probably get the snark back once i stay somewhere too long and things start to bug me again.
i don’t have a permanent address yet but when i do, i’ll let you know. thanks!

Hi my name is Kathleen and I used to be a Scrabulous addict but now I’m a Lexulous addict!! Do you have information about why the Lexulous site is down? Can’t seem to find any updates about it at all! I’m experiencing withdrawal symptoms….but we won’t go there.
TIA.
